About Itinavia
About Itinavia for Itinavia.

Itinavia is a small, independent project run by one person. It exists because the gap between an itinerary that reads well and an itinerary you can actually walk is enormous, and almost nothing on the web closes it.
There are no accounts, no newsletter and no app to install. The itineraries are static pages: the answer is in the HTML, which means it loads fast, it works without JavaScript, and a search engine can read it. The trip parameters — length, party size — are handled in your browser against data that is already on the page.
The underlying engine is deterministic code plus open data from OpenStreetMap and Wikidata. Language models are used for wording only, and their output is verified against the facts before it is used.
If you want to report an error in an itinerary, or a place that has closed, the contact page has the address. Corrections are re-run through the same pipeline, so a fix applies to every itinerary that touches that place.
